This tour take you to the world’s renowned Bridge on the river kwai, Build during World War II by Prisoners of war. The bridge is located near the town of Kanchanaburi 130 kms. west of Bangkok. About 9000 allied soldiers lost their lives in the very harsh conditions they were subjected to while building the bridge and the infamous "Death Rail-way" You will visit the well kept cemetery where they rest in peace. Also included is a visit to the War Museum. Lunch is served at the local restaurant.

07.00 Pick up from major hotel in Bangkok.
09.30 Arrive Kanchanaburi, visit Thailand-Burma Railway Center. It is educational and interactive museum
10.00 Visit War cemetery
10.30 Continue to visit the world’s famous Bridge on The River Kwai. As depicted in the movie and part of the Death railway, historical black iron bridge was the target of allied bombing during 1945. Take a train ride along part of the “Death Railway” to Tam Krasae station, passing farm lands of sugar canes, tapiocas, corns.
12.30 Lunch
13.30 After lunch, take a short walk to Tam Krasae Cave where the Buddha image is enshrined
14.00 Depart for Bangkok
17.30 Arrive Bangkok. Transfer to hotel
